All my tomorrows lay ahead,
And I have no idea what each one holds.
There they sit, each patiently waiting their turn,
To shine, to rain, to just exist in the moment.
Each tomorrow holds a promise.
Some will let that promise fall,
Others will uphold it,
Others still will ignore it.
Each day, all I can do is hope.
Hope that today is better than yesterday,
And pray that tomorrow is better than today.
All I know is that the sum of my tomorrows,
Is so much greater than the sum of my yesterdays.
And the difference, is today.
