Of Life and Love...and Not Enough Hours in the Day...

Apologies, again, for the long hiatus from new posts. I am working on all of them...just, very slowly.

My computer is still down (and if anyone has an old charger for an HP Pavillion they would like to part with...I would be more than happy to take it off your hands...) and so I am still bumming internet time where I can get it. Turns out the Lafayette Library is very stingy to "visitors." We only get 30 minutes a day. That's only 1800 seconds...practically nothing.

So, life has been crazy busy as usual--I have finished registering for school, worked a lot, spent a lot of time with Ryan, ate some onion rings, chose a wedding date, made some awesome grilled cheese...

Did you catch it? ;-) Well, we have decided on June 28th of this year. Yes, it is a Tuesday (for you amazingly brainy people...like Austyn). We chose June 28th because it is my Grandparents' anniversary. As most of you know by now, I am very close with my Grandmother, and I was close with my Grandfather as well. He passed away in 2001, and we all miss him very dearly. This year marks the 65th anniversary of their wedding.

Starting our marriage by celebrating the marriage of two amazingly loving, strong, courageous people makes me feel even *more* warm and fuzzy than I already do. I can only hope that Ryan and I can be half as amazing as my Grandparents are.

So, to wrap it up...hopefully I will be back soon. It all depends on the computer situation. Hopefully I can get a new charger soon...or maybe even a whole new computer!! Woohoo!!

Until then, take care and read on.

Conspiracy Theory...

I have developed a theory concerning my blog and the holidays...

I think that there is some conspiracy trying to keep me from blogging during the holidays. Maybe it's because the world is tired of my words, maybe it's because nothing is going on (that's totally not true), or maybe it's just so that I will slow down and enjoy the moments that are here and will all too soon pass...

I vote for the last one. I mean, no one has said they are tired of my blogging...yet.

In short, my computer's charger finally died--so I have to rely on the kindness of strangers (i.e. my parents and my fiance...yeah, I said FIANCE) to get anything done on the computer. So blogging has taken a back seat for a while. But I do have posts for every day--no worries there my friends. And as you may have guessed, there is much to say.

But for the moment, I am going to continue to enjoy the moment. There is a crochet project calling my name.

Happy New Year Folks!!
